    We offer a new way of experiencing the dining scene by allowing you to enjoy a personalised gastronomic experience by the hands of a private chef in the comfort of your home ! Anywhere in The Bahamas. Our vision has always been to allow the best culinarians to flourish out of the walls of a restaurant, by giving them the opportunity to share their talent with the world.
  • How does Global Culinaire Work ?
    Global Culinaire Inc. allows you to enjoy the experience of having a private chef anywhere in The Bahamas. As a guest, you simply fill in the details of your event in an easy and dynamic way, and the best four local chefs interested will respond with a personalized menu. Once you decide on a candidate based on their chef profile, menu proposal, and conversation, you can reserve the experience and the chef will take care of the rest.
  • How can I contact Global Culinaire Inc?
    You can contact us through email, at info@globalculinaire.com or directly through our chat box. Our concierge team will be more than happy to help you!
  • What is GCI’s Cancellation Policy?
    Our cancellation policy allows for cancellation 3 days (72 hours) prior to service with no penalty, 2 days (48 hours) prior to service with a 50% payment of the invoice and 1 day (24hours) prior to service with 100% payment of the invoice.
  • Does the price include gratuity and taxes?
    No, once you have completed all of your selections, VAT tax (10%) and gratuity (15%) will be added on to your final bill.
  • Can I request other related services for my booking?
    Of course! We are committed to making your experience an unforgettable one. Choose from our wide selection of Add-On features including service staff, décor rentals, specialty cakes, floral arrangements, full-bar service, entertainment, and event hosting.
  • Does the chef provide their own equipment (pots, pans, cutlery, glassware)?
    Your culinary team will use the equipment available at the venue of service but will be fully prepared to accommodate any additionally needed items. Be sure to communicate any known inadequacies with your chef beforehand.
  • I have a large party, but I don’t think my venue has seating for everyone. Does GCI provide additional seating arrangements?
    Yes! You can opt to include table & seating rentals at an additional cost.
  • How can I gift a private chef service experience to someone else?
    You can use our Gift Card section to book a service for a friend. Enter the requirement information and follow the prompts as necessary to complete the booking.
  • How is clean-up handled after the service?
    Depending on your party size, a server may be required to assist the chef with clean-up. If there is no server helping the chef, he/she is responsible for ensuring your venue is left as it was met.
  • Is there a minimum lead time to book a service?
    Yes, we require at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the intended service to ensure we are fully prepared. However, if it cannot be avoided, we can accommodate a rush service at an additional charge of $200.00BSD.
  • Does GCI accommodate dietary restrictions, including allergies and religious or health diet requirements?
    Yes, for every booking we ensure there is full transparency on what the clients can and can’t have and what they want and don’t want.
